© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Wednesday, May 9, 2007 Clara Faye [Clark] Corley March 1, 1918 ~ May 7, 2007 Funeral service for Clara Faye Corley, 89, of Tuttle, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 10, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Tuttle. Clara Faye Corley was born March 1, 1918 in Rattan, Oklahoma the daughter of Curtis Delmore and Julie Ann [Corley] Clark and died May 7, 2007 at her home in Tuttle. Clara moved to Amber in 1927. She had lived most of her life in the Tuttle and Amber areas. She also lived in the Dibble and Middleburg areas. She and Alvin Corley were married August 8, 1935 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Clara was a member of the Friendly Mound Home Extension in Tuttle for over 50 years. She was an excellent seamstress and also crocheted, embroidered, knitted and did many other crafts. She was preceded in death by: Her parents; four brothers: Leon, Charley, Bert and Carl; five sisters: Lillian, Almeda, Iler, Viola, and Stella. Survivors include: Husband: Alvin Corley of the home in Tuttle; two sons and daughters-in-law: Eugene and Janice Corley of Tuttle; Ray Dean and Voncille Corley of Tuttle; one sister: Thelma King of Del City; four grandchildren: Monty Corley, Charlotte Boyer, Dwain Corley, and Russell Corley; 7 great-grandchildren; Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Interment will be in the Amber Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle. |
