John Stephen "Bud" Stuckey
June 12, 1882 ~ May 31, 1936


Funeral at Alex ~ Rites were held in the Baptist church Monday, June 1, for John S. Stuckey, age 53, of Alex, who passed away suddenly due to a paralytic stroke.

Deceased is survived by his widow, 5 sons and 2 daughters.

Interment was in the Morris cemetery. Brown Funeral Home of Lindsay in charge.

March 21, 1850 ~ March 7, 1924


Aged Lady Passes Away

Mrs. M. C. Stuckey died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Jim Craig northwest of town Friday afternoon, aged 74 years.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon by L. R. Jones, pastor of the M. E. church of this place, and burial was made in the Morris Cemetery.

The family had recently moved to this community and little is known of them.

Note: The initial "M" is incorrect. Her given name was "Nancy."
