Spangler died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wilson, 2 miles east of Alex, March 18th, having been visiting at her home. He was a member of the Baptist church and died in the hope of a resurrection beyond the grave. Funeral services were held the following day conducted by Rev. R. M. Templeton, pastor of the Methodist church of Alex, and burial was made in the cemetery southeast of Alex. |
