Myrtle Adeline [Hoover] Shelby
November 5, 1938 ~ May 5, 2006


Funeral service for Myrtle Adeline Shelby, age 67, of Bradley will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 in the Alex High School Auditorium. George Peterson and Willis Propp will officiate.

Adeline was born the daughter of Howell Hoover and Amelia Lanier Hoover on November 5, 1938, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. She died on May 5, 2006, in Norman, Oklahoma.

Adeline married Jim Shelby on November 30, 1964, in Hammond, Louisiana. In 1965, they moved to Southwest Oklahoma where they lived three years before moving to their farm east of Alex in 1968.

The annual church convention was very important to them and was moved from Chelsea, Oklahoma to their farm in 1974.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
