Express~Star Chickasha, Oklahoma May 29, 2014 February 16, 1925 ~ May 28, 2014 Funeral services for Ina Mae Shaw, 89, of Bradley will be held at 2 p.m. Monday June 2, 2014 at the Alex United Methodist Church in Alex. She was born February 16, 1925 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma the daughter of James Ethridge and Della Davidson Long. She died Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in Norman, Oklahoma. She and Willie B. Shaw were married November 16, 1944 in Hatch, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on March 20, 2001. Mrs. Shaw was a housewife and had been a cook at Shanoan Springs Nursing home and Grady Memorial Hospital in Central Supply, Maremont, and many family businesses. She had also farmed with her husband. She was a member of the United Methodist Women's Group. Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by Her parents, husband , one son, six brothers , two sisters, and one great grandson. Survivors include: two sons: Jimmy Lloyd Shaw and wife Janet of Alex, Danny Joe Shaw and wife Betty of Chickasha; our daughters: Willie Mae Sterling and husband Dany of Chickasha, Arlene Berniece Mills and husband Rickey of Rush Springs, Charlene Della Shaw of Chickasha, Josephine Delois Shaw of Chickasha; brother: Bill Long; two sisters: Charlene Kelso and Nina Darwell; brother in law: Walter Shaw and wife Edith of Alex; 11 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and A great-great-grandchild, various nieces, nephews and other relatives. Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery, Alex, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
