Lester Franklin Roggers


Local Youth Dies Monday Evening

Lester Roggers, 17 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Roggers, of this town, passed on suddenly early Monday evening from the family home here.

He was ill but a few days, the attending physician giving acute septic meningitis as the cause of his death He also was suffering from an abcess in the right ear.

Lester Franklin Roggers was born in Alex October 2, 1918, and was 17 years and 19 days old at the time of his death.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at the First Baptist church, Rev. G. W. Woodward of El Reno conducting the services. Burial was in the Morris cemetery.

Beside the parents, he leaves four sisters, Maple, Dovie Bell, Ruth, and Betty, and one small brother, Odell, all at home.
