© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Saturday, June 12, 2010 Jenell [Hendrix] Pearson December 8, 1939 ~ June 4, 2010 CHICKASHA - Funeral service for Jenell H. Pearson, age 70 of Alex, Oklahoma, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, in the Southern Baptist Chapel. Bud Jones will officiate and Allen McCoy will assist. Jenell was born the daughter of Joseph Hendrix and Nellie Richards Hendrix on December 8, 1939, in Story, Oklahoma. She died on June 4, 2010, in Norman, Oklahoma. Jenell lived in Clovis, New Mexico as a child then moved to the Maysville, Oklahoma area. She married Jackie Pearson in the Maysville Church of Christ. They moved to Alex where they lived most of their lives. Jenell worked at Canadian Valley Vo-Tech as a receptionist for several years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Nellie Hendrix; her husband, Jackie Lee Pearson in March of 1989; daughter, Angela Brewer in January of 2007. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law: Jackie & Nancy Pearson of Alex; Grandson: Joshua Oaks of Minco; Granddaughter: Crystal Guevara of El Reno; Grandson: Joseph Pearson of Green River, Wyoming; Granddaughter: Lauren Cavitt of Amarillo, Texas; Grandson: Jake Pearson of Alex; Grandson: Samuell Pearson of Alex and Nine Great Grandchildren. Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home. |
