Boyd L. Nichols - Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Boyd L. Nichols of Paoli was born November 5, 1933 in Maxwell, Oklahoma to Jess and Mary Carnes Nichols. He passed away February 26, 2011 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years.

Boyd served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea and Vietnam.

When Boyd got out of the service, he was a quality assurance inspector for Hamilton Standard Aircraft Propellers. Later he retired as a correctional officer with the State of Connecticut.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Chickasha.

Boyd was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Mary Nichols; his wife, Nancy; and a sister, Clara Alcorn.

He is survived by his Caregiver/Special Friend, Jane Davis of Paoli; cousins: Bennie Story, Gerrald Story, and Dee Story; great-nephew, Roy Cross; and 3 step granddaughters: Tegan, Brie, and Morgan.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Alex Cemetery under the direction of the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.

Graveside funeral services were held March 2, 2011 at the Alex Cemetery, Alex, Oklahoma under the direction of the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.

Nancy Ann [Maloni] Nichols
March 25, 1935 ~ May 18, 2005


Funeral service for Nancy Ann Nichols, 70, of Chickasha will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2005 at the Calvary Baptist Church.

Nancy an Nichols was born March 25, 1935 and raised in New Bedford, Massachusetts the daughter of Lesio and Pia [Manganelli] Maloni and died Wednesday, May 18, 2005 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Nichols received her Bachelor Degree in Education at the University of Massachusetts, in Amhert, Mass. She taught English and Spanish in elementary and middle schools for over 20 years. She taught in Connecticut and retired from teaching at Thornton Burgess School in Hampden, Massachusetts.

She and Boyd Nichols were married in 1985 in Massachusetts. After their retirement, they moved to Chickasha in 1992. She and her husband loved to ride on his motorcycle and went for long trips together along with their friends from the Washita Valley Riders Club. She loved working in her garden and collecting rocks from their travels together. She and her husband are members of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Nichols was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Boyd Nichols: two daughters, Mary Edwards and husband, Robert Edwards of West Hartford, Connecticut and Maureen Gerrard of Chicopee, Massachusetts; one son, Michael Gerrard and wife, Bed Gerrard of Hampden, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Nichole Gerrard of Chicopee, Massachusetts, Brian Edwards of Bozeman, Montana, Sam Edwards of West Hardford, Connecticut, and Spencer Kocot of Hampden, Massachusetts.

Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
