Survived by one daughter and her husband; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; three brothers; three sisters; and other relatives. |
© The Chickasha Express-Star 18 September 2003 Ola Mae [McDonald] Newton October 31, 1939 ~ September 17, 2003 Funeral services for Ola Mae Newton, 63, of Ninnekah, Okla., will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Ola Mae Newton was born on October 31, 1939, and died on Wednesday, September 17, 2003. Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. 19 September 2003 Ola Mae Newton October 31, 1939 ~ September 17, 2003 Funeral service for Ola Mae Newton, 63, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20, 2003, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Ola Mae Newton was born October 31, 1939, in Lamar, Oklahoma, and died September 17, 2003. She and Bill Newton were married March 29, 1985, in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Newton worked at the Maremont, ArvinMeritor Plant in Chickasha for 29 years. She retired April 2002 due to her health after two major cancer operations, and it was determined she still had cancer. She was preceded in death by father, Jim David McDonald; mother, Elvola [Jackson] McDonald; 2 brothers: James and Joe McDonald; 1 sister, Dorthy Jackson. Her father, mother, and brother, Joe, died of cancer also. Her brother, James, died in an auto accident. Survivors include: husband, W. V. "Bill" Newton of the home; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Linda Sue and Randy Harris of Chickasha; 1 granddaughter, Priscilla Harris of Chickasha; 1 grandson, Codey Harris of Alabama; 3 sisters; Florene Hatten of Alfala, Oklahoma, Louise Holland of Albert, Oklahoma, Bonnie McDonald of Colbert, Oklahoma; 3 brothers: Sam McDonald of Stover, Missouri, John McDonald of Cement, Oklahoma, David McDonald, Huntsville, Texas; host of nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
