© Alex Tribune Alex, Oklahoma Friday, May 16, 1924 April 28, 1872 ~ May 9, 1924 The body of Mr E. L. Martin, who died at the University Hospital in Oklahoma City Thursday, arrived here Friday morning, and was buried in the Morris Cemeteey that afternoon, folling a service at the Baptist church, conducted by Rev J. M. Corbin. Mr Martin was born in Woods county, Texas April 28, 1874. He was united in marriage to Mrs Mattie Burton on November 14, 1905, to them were born five children, one of which died in infancy. He was stricken with Tuberculosis several years ago, and about two years ago entered the state hospital at Clinton, Okla., for treatment. He was later taken to the University hospital at Oklahoma City, where de died Thursdat, May 8th. He was not a member of any church, but professed his faith in Christ several weeks before his death. |
