Lester Lee Marsh
February 15, 1932 ~ February 22, 2016

Lester Lee Marsh was born February 15, 1932 to James and Margie [Seals] Marsh at their home in Cement, OK. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 22, 2016 at his home in Alex, OK at the age of 84.

Lester grew up assisting on the family farm during the hardest most impoverished era in Oklahoma and the country.

He met and married the love of his life Mildred Taylor of Oklahoma City, OK in 1954. Together they raised seven children on a small farm in Alex, OK.

Through the years Lester held many jobs with several companies in the oil industry. He retired from Apache Corp. in 2002 at the age of 71. He was also a lay minister with the Assembly of God church's, pastoring the Alex Assembly of God from 1946 to 1966 and then again from 1984 to 1992.

Many people who knew Lester describe him as one of the greatest people they've ever met, most certainly one of the Godliest. He lived his life trying to be an example to others in his interactions with them, so they may desire to seek their own salvation. It is believed by all that knew him that Lester Marsh held God's heart in the palm of his hand.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Margie Marsh; brothers: Don Marsh, Stanley Marsh and Earl Marsh; sisters: Margie Henry, Goldie Johnson; daughter, Kathy Marsh; great grandchild, Dontell Caton.
