Lola Edith [Chambers] Lindley
July 16, 1907 ~ September 27, 1934


Mrs. Lindley Called By Grim Reaper

The uncertainty of life was again brought forcibly to our attention when death claimed Mrs. Lola Edith Lindley, who succumbed after a short illness on last Thursday.

Mrs. Lindley was born July 16, 1907, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Chambers of Alex. She attended the public schools here, and was married to Archer Lindley October 2, 1927. To this union a daughter, Betty Lou, was born. Excepting a few months residence in New Mexico.

Mrs. Lindley lived her entire life in Alex.

The funeral services were held Friday at the Missionary Baptist church, Rev. G. C. Hill conducting the services, with burial in the Morris cemetery.

She leaves her husband and daughter, her parents, four brothers, w. H. Chambers of Chickasha, L. E. Chambers of Bradley, and E. J. and H. P. Chambers in California. Three sisters also survive, Mrs. W. H. Mackey of Minco, Mrs. W. H. Edwards of Garber, and Mrs. R. J. Denson of Lindsay.
