© The Chickasha Express-Star June 12, 2012 Clement Edward Lanoy, Jr January 2, 1950 ~ May 28, 2012 Funeral service for Clement Edward Lanoy Jr., age 62 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 1, 2012 in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Will Fitzwater will officiate. Clement Edward was born the son of Clement Edward Lanoy, Sr, and Willie Lee Palmer Lanoy on January 2, 1950 in Coalgate, Oklahoma. He died on May 28, 2012 in Chickasha. Clement grew up in Oklahoma City then returned to the Coalgate area and graduated from Olney High School. He entered the United States Army in 1969. Clement served from 1969 to 1986 serving in Vietnam, Korea, and Germany. After being discharged, he moved to Lawton and operated a service station. Clement moved to Chickasha in 1995 and worked at Gabriel for many years. He was a member of the Naples Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Clement Lanoy, Sr., one brother, Tommy Lanoy, and one nephew, Joseph Fitzwater. Survivors include: Mother: Willie Lanoy of Ninnekah, Sister & Husband: Opal & Will Fitzwater of Ninnekah, Nephew & Wife: Shane & Ellen Fitzwater of Ninnekah, Great Nieces & Nephews: Hannah, Samuel & Leah Fitzwater of Ninnekah, Nieces: Susan & Cindy of Oklahoma City. Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home. |
