Huff The body of William Huff who died at a sanitarium in San Angelo, Texas, Sunday May 29th, arrived here Wednesday for burial. The funeral services were held at the Baptist church conducted by Rev. S. C. Blackburn of Marlow, and the burial services under the auspices of the W. O. W. lodge of which he was a member, took place at the Morris cemetery after which his body was consigned to mother earth. Wm. Huff, son of G. W. Huff, of near Alex, was born in 1893. He enlisted in the service of his country in 1917 and saw service in France, until 1919, when he received his discharge. He later developed tuberculosis and for the past year had been under treatment at San Angelo where his death occurred. He was converted during his sickness, and while not being affiliated with any church or organization, he expressed himself as having a hope in Christ Jesus of a home beyond the grave. He is survived by his father, step-mother, five brothers and two sisters. |
