Mildred Imogene Horne
May 16, 1916 ~ September 20, 2007


Graveside service for Mildred Imogene Horne, 91, of Edmond, Oklahoma will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 24, 2007 at the Alex Cemetery.

Mildred Imogene Horne was born May 16, 1916 and went to be with the Lord September 20, 2007.

Mrs. Horne graduated from Alex High School in 1934. She married Morris Horne and they lived in Alex until 1955 and at that time moved to Lindsay and then to Chickasha. After the death of Morris in 1995, She moved to Edmond to be near her son, Jay and his family.

Mrs. Horne was a member of the First Baptist Church of Edmond.

She was preceded in death by: Her husband: Morris Horne; one daughter: Jacque Horne Lee; Parents: Bill and Ruth Foster; one brother: Bill J. Foster.

Survivors include: Her children: Clara Horne Smith and husband Del of Longview, TX; Jay Foster Horne and wife Joyce of Edmond, OK; Grandchildren: Kevin Smith and wife Lori of Dallas, TX; Kristin Smith Halphen and husband David of The Woodlands, TX; Gentry Stambaugh and Katy of Las Vegas, NV; Tyler Stambaugh and wife Erin of Colorado Springs, CO; Jacie Horne Fite and husband Troy of Edmond, OK; Jeremy Horne and Jessica Horne of Edmond, OK; five great-grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
