© Sevier Funeral Home Chickasha, Oklahoma February 2005 October 31, 1913 ~ February 6, 2005 Graveside service for William Franklin Holder, 91, of Alex, Oklahoma will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2005 at the Alex Cemetery. William Franklin Holder was born October 31, 1913 in Alex, Oklahoma the son of Ray and Caline [Morris] Holder and died February 6, 2005 in Alex. Mr. Holder lived in Alex all of his life. He also farmed all of his life. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Caline Holder; brother, John Thomas; and one sister, Geneva Martin. Survivors include one daughter, Mahonna Maxine Holder of Alex, Oklahoma; one grandson, Morgan Lee McStotts of Bakersfield, California; very close friends, Larry & Marleen Abel of Alex; two nieces and one nephew. Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. © Chickasha Express~Star Chickasha, Oklahoma February 11, 2005 October 31, 1913 ~ February 6, 2005 William Franklin Holder, 91, passed away on February 6, 2005. Bill lived in Alex, Oklahoma all of his life except for the years he served in the US Army during WW II. He looked forward to attending his army reunion every year. Bill was a farmer and a friend to many long-time residents of Alex. Bill was proud of his Chickasaw heritage. He was well known for his friendly manner and dry wit. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Caline Morris Holder and Ray Benjamin Holder; his brother, John Thomas Holder, and sister, Geneva Holder Martin. He is survived by one daughter, Mahona McStotts and grandson Morgan McStotts, both from California. He shared a close relationship with and will be expecially missed by Mary Holder Cagle, sister-in-law; Ben Cates Holder, Nephew; Cindy Claire Holder and Lea Ann Holder, nieces. |
