© Alex Tribune Alex, Oklahoma Friday, June 17, 1927 January 6, 1888 ~ June 11, 1927 Death of Mrs. Hall - Mrs. C. A. Hall died at the hospital in Chickasha Saturday evening at 7 o'clock, following an operation from which she never rallied. The remains were brought to the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Miller 4 1/2 miles southwest of Alex Sunday morning. The funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. T. R. Vaughan. Burial was made in the Morris cemetery. Frances Miller was born at Doyle, Okla., January 6, 1888. She was married to C. A. Hall at Chickasha, Dec. 4, 1904, and settled in the Alex community, where they had lived until the last two years when they moved to near Duncan, where they had lived since. She was converted many years ago and joined the Methodist church, holding her membership at Doyle. She had been suffering severely at times for several weeks with her stomach and was brought to the home of her parents, but continued to grow worse until taken to the hospital. The operation revealed the fact that she had cancer of the stomach in the last stage. She is survived by her husband, her parents, three brothers and two sisters, besides many other relatives and friends. |
