Genowefa Ann Driskill, 75, of Lindsay, OK, died in Heritage Manor Care Center in Oklahoma City on August 29, 2000.

She was born in Poland on January 6, 1925 to January Farien and Agnieszka Farien.

She has been a resident in the Bradley and Lindsay area since 1945. She was a member of the Erin Springs Baptist Church.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and worked as a seamstress.

Survivors include two sons, Sammy Morris and Larry Morris. Grandchildren, Jenny Morris, Dana Morris, Sherry Braun, and Sammi Morris.

Funeral arrangements are with B.G. Boydston Funeral Home in Lindsay. Services will be held in the Boydston Chapel on Thursday, August 31, 2000 at 10:00 am with Rev. Bill Love officiating. She will be laid to rest in Alex Cemetery, Alex, OK.

Pallbearers are Rick Utzig, Jeffrey Mainka, Brandon Mainka, Brandon Conner, Eddie Ernst, and Royce Foley. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Stubberfield and Roby Zachary.

Orlina Mita [Minnett] Driskill
April 30, 1902 ~ May 26, 1994


Funeral service for Orlina Mita Driskill, 92, of Wichita, Kansas, was held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 28, 1994, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Father Brian Packer, St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Officiated.

Orlina Mita Driskill was born April 30, 1902, in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Dr. O. S. Minnett and MIta Harris Minnett; and died Thursday, May 26, 1994, in Wichita, Kansas.

She moved to Chickasha as a small child and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1920.

She and Stanley Driskill were married in 1920 and lived in the Chickasha area until they moved to the Bradley and Alex Community where she lived for 50 years.

Mrs. Driskill was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Driskill in1974; one son, George Driskill in 1983; two brothers, Henry Minnett and Dr. John MInnett; one sister, Sudie Hollingsworth.

Survivors include one daughter, Minnetta MacCoy of Wichita, Kansas; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

Interment was held in the Alex Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's Episcopal Church, Lindsay, OK.

George Morgan Driskill, 56, was born July 3, 1926, and passed away January 26, 1983 in Mercy Hospital in OKC.

Mr. Driskill graduated from Bradley Highschool.

He Moved to Alex in 1938 and to OKC in 1977.

He was a self-employed Lease Operator, was a member of Myrtle Masonic Lodge No. 145 in OKC, member of the United Methodist Church in Alex.

Mr. Driskill was preceded in death by his father, Stanley E. Driskill.

Survived by 1 son, Dennis Driskill of Alex, his mother, Orlina Driskill of Alex, sister, Minnetta MacCoy of Wichita, Ks, 1 niece and 1 nephew.

Memorial contributions may be made to Western Oaks Christian Church, OKC.

Interment in Alex Cemetery, under direction of Sevier Funeral Home in Chickasha.
