December 6, 2004 Ralph Lee "Ron" Castoe January 17, 1945 ~ December 6, 2004 Ron Castoe passed away December 6, 2004 at the Norman Regional Hospital. Ralph was born January 17, 1945 to Caleb Worcester and Becky Castoe in Wellington, Texas. Ron married Martha Horn on December 17, 1966 in Dallas, Texas. They made their home in Lindsay, Oklahoma until 1973 and then moved to Woodward, Oklahoma until 1990, then to Enid. In 1993 they moved to Allen, Oklahoma. Ron was the owner of Lonetree Archery in Allen, Oklahoma. He had manufactured custom longbows since 1996. Before opening his shop he worked for Halliburton Energy Services for 23 years as a District Manager. Ron was a member of Traditional Archery. His favorite activities were archery, archery tournaments and visiting with his archery friends. Ron is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, two brothers, Robert Castoe and Charles Castoe, four sisters, Roxanne Castoe, Mary Olive "Polly" Upchurch, Mildred Margaret "Mickey" Roof, and Margaret Christine "Margie" Bass. Services for Ron will be at the Lindsay United Methodist Church on Friday, December 10, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Alex cemetery in Alex, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of B.G. Boydston. |
