July 2015 Jo Ann [Doshier] Carter January 26, 1952 ~ July 25, 2015 JoAnn Carter, 63, of Alex, died Saturday, July 25, 2015, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. The daughter of Lee Edward Doshier and Mary Jean [Merritt] Doshier. She was born January 26, 1952, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. JoAnn married Charles Ray Carter on October 21, 1969 in Texas. She worked in the cafeteria for the Chickasha and Alex Schools for many years. In her spare time, JoAnn enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda Brown. JoAnn is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ray Carter of Alex; two daughters, Raye Anne Carter and Joye Michelle Carter, both of Chickasha; two grandchildren, Amber Dawn Carter of Chickasha, and Devon Ray Ringler of Ohio; two sisters, Cathy Armstrong of Alex, and Glenda Crumm of Chickasha; three brothers, Edward Doshier and wife, Debbie, of Norge, Thomas Doshier and wife, Marion, of Blanchard, and Michael Taber of Chickasha; and numerous other loved ones and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. |
