June 18, 1996 J. C. Bevill November 13, 1913 ~ June 18, 1996 J. C. Bevill, 82, was born November 13, 1913, in Wortham, Tx, the son of Ozie & Addie [Looney] Bevill, and died June 18, 1996 in OKC, OK. J.C. was married to Lois Kathleen O'Donnell on June 11, 1934, in Chickasha, Ok. She preceded him in death April 1, 1987. They were married 52 years. Mr. Bevill lived and farmed for several years at Alex, Ok, and moved his family to OKC in 1943. He worked on aircraft around the U.S. and retired from Tinker Field in the 1980s. He was a long-time ham radio operator with Civil Defense. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Earl & Reford Bevill; sons, James Christopher Bevill 1959 & Charles O'Donnell Bevill 1975; & grandson, David Bevill. Mr. Bevill is survived by sons & their wives, John & Barbara Bevill, Kingfisher, Ok, Mike & Paula Bevill, Chickasha, Ok; daughters & husbands, Bob & Kay Bevill Tucci, Sallisaw, Ok, Jex & Barbara Bevill Capener, St. Peters, Mo, Kevin & Diana Bevill Mysinger, & Todd & Jeannie Bevill Corbin, all of Wellston, Ok; 22 grandchildren & 21 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to American Lung Assoc. of Okla, 2442 N. Walnut, OKC 73105 or the Alex Cemetery Fund at the Alex Bank. Funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at Sevier Funeral Home Chapel, Chichasha. Interment will be in the Alex, OK Cemetery. |
