Catrina Jane "Cat" [Hankins] Bertelson
December 30, 1979 ~ July 6, 2015


A service of remembrance for Catrina Jane "Cat" Bertelson, age 35 of Alex, Oklahoma, was held on Thursday, July 16, 2015, in the Alex Methodist Church, Rev. Sue Lykins officiated.

Catrina Jane was born the daughter of Ernest James Hankins and Deborah Rae Broughton Hankins on December 30, 1979 in Nampa, Idaho. She died on Monday, July 6, 2015 in an auto accident near Alex.

Catrina grew up in Idaho and California. She married Kenny Bertelson on March 16, 2002 in Marsing, Idaho. They moved to Alex, Oklahoma in 2009. Cat worked at various nursing homes in the area. She loved to take care of the elderly and the sick.

Catrina was a member of the Alex United Methodist Church. She was active in the children's programs, drove the church van, and sang in the choir.

Private family interment was held in the Alex Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
