Richard John Barbee
September 27, 1911 ~ November 25, 1996


Richard John Barbee, 85, formerly of Alex, Ok., passed away November 25, 1996 in OKC.

Services are Wednesday, 3:30 p.m. at Sevier's Funeral Home, Chickasha.

He farmed and raised cattle in the Harris and Alex communities and retired from Chickasha Mfg. Co. in 1976.

Richard is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mildred; his stepchildren, Charles & Virginia Aldridge, OKC, Louise & Herbert Crosby, OKC; grandchildren, Mike Aldridge, Susan & Jimmy Brown, Cindy & Ramsses Hawit, Russell Aldridge, Charles Crosby & Robb Crosby; great grandchildren, Brandon & Rachel Brown, Alexandra & Andre Hawit, Corissa Crosby; his sister, Frankie Light of Chickasha.

Richard was a member of the Hawkins Freewill Baptist Church and later attended Chickasha Freewill Baptist Church before moving to OKC in 1991 due to ill health.

Interment in Alex, OK Cemetery.
