© Roberts & Son Funeral Home Blackwell, Oklahoma Daisy Ann Watson September 14, 1946 ~ December 31, 2007 Daisy Ann Watson was born on September 14, 1946, in Century, Florida. She was the daughter of Finis Watson and Alice Angeline [Nims] Pruett. She grew up in Maysville, Oklahoma, attending Maysville Public Schools and graduating from Maysville High School. She then began working as a waitress in Maysville. On December 2, 1966, she married Stanley Joe Watson in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and they settled in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. In 1970 they moved to Blackwell, Oklahoma, and she began beauty school in Ponca City, Oklahoma. After completion of beauty school she began working for Love and Company and worked there for five years. She then went to work for the Blackwell Regional Hospital working in the kitchen. She later worked for Rush Metals, the O.I.C.C. and the Blackwell Public Schools in the cafertia. She was preceded in death by Stanley on November 19, 1996, and she continued to make Blackwell her home. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She is survived by her mother, Alice Smith of Maysville, Oklahoma, three daughters, Sandra Smith and husband Jason of Newkirk, Oklahoma, Carolyn Watson and husband Josh Gillman of Enid, Oklahoma, and Julie Frye and husband Shannon of Blackwell, Oklahoma; five sisters, Lois, Mary, Sherry, Joyce, and Renee; and one brother, Harry Pruett; five grandchildren, Julie Frye, Ann Suggs, Eli Smith, Samuel Smith, and Joseph Gillman. She was also preceded in death by her father. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2008, at the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Michael Moers officiating. The Graveside Service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2008, at the Wynnewood View Cemetery in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. A memorial has been established at the Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home. The family will be staying at Julie Frye's home 918 West Oklahoma. |
