Friday, September 1, 2006 Jerry Wayne Jones May 11, 1943 ~ September 1, 2006 Jerry Wayne Jones, 63, of Duncan, died Friday, September 1, 2006, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bethesda Church of God with O.D. Bright officiating, assisted by the Rev. Mirl Yates. Interment will be at Wynnewood Cemetery in Wynnewood under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. Jerry was born May 11, 1943, in Wynnewood, to Joe Brown and Birdie Beatrice Thomas Jones. He married Martha Jane Lee on June 1, 1960, in Elmore City. He was a consultant in an international refining business working worldwide. He was a member of the Elmore City Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner. He was also a member of the Bethesda Church of God and Celebrate Recovery there. Survivors include Martha Jane, his wife of 30 years; three daughters, Cindy Amstutz of Washington, Okla., Sharon Boling of Lindsay, and Becky Quebodeaux of DeQuincy, La.; one son, Randal Jones of Washington; one brother, T.C. Jones of Noble; three sisters, Billie Monasco and Anna Smith, both of Oklahoma City, and Dorothy Anderson of Elmore City; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his pet and companion "Allie." He was preceded in death by his parents. Bearers will be his grandsons, Ty Amstutz, Blake Boling, Travis Amstutz, Dusty Jones, Josh Jones, Clint Quebodeaux and Jeremy Quick. |
