© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma July 8, 2004 Robert Howard Ward December 15, 1934 ~ July 8, 2004 Robert Howard Ward, of Pauls Valley was born December 15, 1934 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Jess Morgan and Pearl Lee Webster Ward. He passed away July 8, 2004 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years. He was a retired oil field construction contractor and steel worker. Howard had lived in the Pauls Valley area most of his life. Howard loved his family and enjoyed helping them any way he could. He was an avid sports fan. He especially enjoyed basketball in which he was an all star basketball player in his high school days. Howard was an excellent bowler, loved to fish, working with wood and anything else he was asked to help with. He was loved by many people and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Howard participated in a research project to help find a cure for diabetes. The family requests that donations be made in memory of Robert Howard Ward to American Diabetes Association at P. O. Box 2680 in North Canton, Ohio 44720, or on their website at diabetes.org, or memorial pamphlets are available at the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Jess & Pearl Ward; his wife, Rebecca Ann Pryor Ward in 1991; his brother, Kenneth Ward and his sister, Margaret Lynn Havens. Survived by his 3 children, William Kenneth Ward of Pauls Valley; Cindy Ward of Pauls Valley; and Jerry Brent Ward of Bridgeport, Ok.; brother, Hal & his wife, Bobbie Ward of Pauls Valley; sister, Marian Craig of Pauls Valley; 4 grandchildren, Brittany Nicole & Guy Matthew Taylor, Jr. ; Kristen Breanne Ward; Chase Andrew Ward & Mani Hagood, and Jacob Brent Ward Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, July 12, 2004 at 10:00 am at Paoli Cemetery officiated by Rev. Eddy Mathews. Burial will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. |
