Brenda Lucille [Scott] Speerbrecher
February 10, 1958 ~ March 29, 2004

Funeral Services were held on Friday, April 2, 2004, at 2:00 pm at Paoli First Baptist Church officiated by Bro. Eddy Matthews and James Webster. Burial was at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home of Pauls Valley.

Brenda Lucille Speerbrecher, was born February 10, 1958 in Kingsville, Texas, to Lester and Marion [Miller] Scott. She passed away March 29, 2004 at her home in Paoli.

Brenda was raised in Kingsville, Texas, until she was 12 years of age. At that time she moved to Valley Center, Kansas and was raised by her Aunt Katherine and Uncle Earl Lee Posey.

At age 16, she was married and lost her first baby girl. On March 10, 1977 she had her little girl, Robin Marie.

She moved to Pauls Valley in 1977 to be near her sister, Kelly. This was where she met her husband, Ervin. They were married, July 1, 1978 and had their son, John, on November 7, 1980.

During the following years she worked at Kellwood and Covercraft until May 2003, when she became a homemaker and Missionary. She had just returned from a Mission Trip to Monterrey, Mexico, where many came to know her Savior as theirs.

As a homemaker, she loved to sew, quilt, read her bible, and have her granddaughter, Macalah, come and stay with her.

Brenda and Ervin had 25 years together, some stormy. In May 2003, Ervin accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord of his life and Brends rededicated her life to her Savior and Lord. God blessed them with the happiest ten months of their lives. We don't know why God chose to take her home with Him at this time, but we do know we will see her again.

Survivors include her husband, Ervin Speerbrecher; two children, Robin Marie Gray, of Purcell, Oklahoma; and John Speerbrecher, of Purcell, Oklahoma; her father, Lester and Sue Scott of Arlington, Texas; and mother, Marion Turner, of Corsicanna, Texas; 2 half brothers, Duce Turner, and John Scott, 2 sisters, Kelly Thompson, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and Mary Scott, of Waco, Texas; 3 half sisters, Leslie Scott, and Lila Scott, and Sheila Turner, 1 granddaughter, Macalah Dawn Gray.

She was preceded in death by 1 child Jackie Lynn Smith, and her Uncle Earl Lee Posey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: First Baptist Church, Paoli Mission Fund, In Honor of Brenda Speerbrecher, P.O. Box 5, Paoli, OK 73074.
