© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma January 9, 2015 Kevin Sean Sanders February 27, 1967 ~ January 9, 2015 Kevin Sean Sanders was born February 27, 1967 at Tripler General Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii to Neva [Wadley] Owens and R.G. Sanders and passed from this life January 9, 2015. Kevin grew up in Paoli OK, graduating from Paoli High School in 1985. After graduation Kevin began a career in the oil field; but had recently found what he said was "his calling" when he went to work for Charlie, Michelle and Harli White as a mechanic for Harli White Racing. Kevin enjoyed being in the outdoors and fixing things. He will be remembered for his compassionate nature, keen sense of humor, good natured ribbing and infectious laugh. He loved his family and was a good friend to many. Kevin was preceded in death by his nephew Donnie Scott Sanders and sister in law Andrea Lucille Sanders; maternal grandparents, Ed "Shorty" and Mertie Wadley, paternal grandparents Lloyd Sanders and Arvilla Sanders; Uncles, Freeman [Corky] Wadley, Lloyd Wayne Sanders and Robert [Bobby] Kelley and cousin Dakota Lane Deaver. Kevin was of the Baptist faith. His survivors include his daughter Lexie Mauney and husband JB of Mooresville, North Carolina; his parents Neva and Donnie Owens and R.G. and Sharon Sanders; 2 brothers, Scotty Sanders and wife Ronda of Lindsay and Chris Owens and wife Linda of Pauls Valley; Nephews, Clayton Sanders, Matthew and Dereck Owens and Richie and Brandon Thornburg of Lindsay; Nieces, Laci Sanders and Chaney Shores and his aunts; Pat Sanders, Dorothy Byrd and E.B., Ouida Duckworth, Eddie Kelley, Debbie Wadley and many cousins. Kevin is also survived by his very special friend and companion Ellen Garrett. Pallbearers will be: Ron Allen Stewart, David Dillard, Kelly Whitefield, Troy Bishop, Gary Doughty and Charlie White. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 10:30 am at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Pastor Mike Martinez and Pastor John Allen. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. |
