Mable Leona [Brummett] Randolph
October 5, 1909 ~ March 23, 1995


Randolph was born October 5, 1909 ~ Funeral service for Mable Brummett Randolph, 85, Maysville, will be conducted today at 2:30 p.m. at the first Baptist Church of Maysville. Rev. Jim Paslay will officiated.

Burial will be held at the Paoli Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville.

Randolph was born October 5, 1909 near Purdy to Willie and Mary Jane Brummett. She died March 23, 1995 at the Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Purcell.

She was a longtime resident of the Maysville area. In 1927 she married Paul Randolph and they moved to Brawley, Cal. in 1929 where they were in the grocery and rental property business for over 50 years.

Randolph was a member of the First Baptist Church of Maysville and was a Sunday School teacher for over 60 years. She was very active in youth work, which was her greatest joy.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul, in 1980 and one sister, Ruth Stephens and her husband Edgel, and two brothers, Dex Brummett and Paul "Cracker" Brummett.

Survivors include one sister, Billie Jean Odom of St. Amant, Louisiana; two sisters-in-law, Alva Jewell Brummett of Hobbs, New Mexico and Ina Mae Brummett of Maysville; and many other nieces, nephews and friends of the family.
