© Stufflebean Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma September 8, 1993 April 10, 1904 ~ September 8, 1993 Graveside service for Robert Earl Pruitt, 89, El Paso, Texas, will be conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 11 at the Paoli Cemetery, Dr. Joe Elam will officiate. Service is under the direction of Stufflebeam Funeral Home. Pruitt was born April 10, 1904 in Pauls Valley, Indian Territory and died September 8, 1993 in El Paso, Texas. He taught school in Pauls Valley for many years then moved to El Paso 36 years ago where he continued to teach until his retirement. He married Audie Lee Spence, who preceded him in death on March 12, 1980. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Glenna and Bill Archer, El Paso, Texas; one brother and two sisters, O.A. "Dot" Pruitt, Francis Phillips and Lillie Coffey; two grandchildren, Kelley Moore, Playas, N.M., and Jim David Archer, Lubbock; two great-grandchildren, Erin Moore and Jordan Moore. |
© Stufflebean Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma Wednesday, March 12, 1980 November 19, 1906 ~ March 12, 1980 Pruitt Services Saturday Mrs. Earl "Audie" Pruitt, 73, El Paso, TX., died Wednesday in El Paso, TX. Funeral services are Saturday at 2 p.m. in Stufflebean Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Newman and Hale Dixon will officiate. Burial will be in Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean Funeral Home. Mrs. Prutt was a schoolteacher for 30 years in Oklahoma and 21 years in El Paso, TX. She was recognized as Teacher of the Year two times, both in Oklahoma and Texas. She was born on Nov. 19, 1906 in Florence Chapel, Oklahoma Indian Territory. Survivors include her husband, Earl Pruitt, El Paso, TX.; two daughters, Mrs. Bill "Glenna" Archer, El Paso, TX.; Mrs. Sally Shirley, Ada; three brothers, Kennard Spence, Jack Spence, both of Paoli and Roy Spence, Pauls Valley; two grandchildren, Kelly Archer and Jim David Archer, all of El Paso, TX. |
