He grew up in the Paoli and Pauls Valley areas and graduated from Paoli High school in 1961. He established Norman Brothers Tank Trucks in 1980. He married Mary Jo McElwee in March 1985. He worked as an oil field contract pumper until his death. He loved deer hunting, the great outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.R. Norman and Lucille Huff Norman Hawkins. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo Norman of Pauls Valley; former wife, Gayle Cunningham Krien of Sulphur; two daughters, Allynna Rayna Evans of Noble and Natha Norton of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Keith Allen and Kayla of Noble; two stepsons, Jason Scott of Yukon and Shane Green of Pauls Valley; six brothers, Jerry, Glendall & Ricky Norman, all of Paoli, Lonnie & Johnny Norman, both of Pauls Valley and Richard Norman of Saginaw, TX; sister, Gail Lee of Ardmore. Services were December 15 at the Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel in Pauls Valley with the Rev. Jim Densman officiating. Burial was at the Paoli Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Krien Funeral Home of Sulpur. |
