© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma September 4, 2012 October 28, 1972 ~ September 4, 2012 Donald "Duck" Moore, of Pauls Valley, was born October 28, 1972 in Denver, Colorado to Billy Wade and Betty Jane [Lewis] Moore. He passed away September 4, 2012 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 39 years. Donald was raised in the Pauls Valley and Paoli area and has made his home in this area all of his life. He is a graduate of the Paoli High School. He furthered his education and worked hard to achieve his training and certificates to become an EMT as well as a Fire Fighter and later earning the position of Fire Chief of the Paoli Fire Department. On April 20, 2006 he and Gwen Barrowman were married in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Donald loved the outdoors, especially 4-wheeling, riding his motorcycle with his friends, snow-boarding, wake boarding and scuba diving in which he had earned his "Dive Master" certificate. His favorite past time was spending time with and teaching his daughter, Paige, all the activities he enjoyed. For many years he also rode bulls; after his retirement from riding bulls he loved teaching the younger riders all the fundamentals of bull riding. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Wade Moore; as well as being especially close to: his grandmother, Ethel Marie Lewis and aunt, Mable Lewis. Surviving family include his wife, Gwen, and daughter, Paige Moore of the home; his mother, Betty Moore of Purcell; a brother, Paul Moore of Arkansas; half-brothers, Ronnie Moore and Billy Wade Moore, both, of Texas; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. |
