© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma August 1, 2010 October 30, 1931 ~ August 1, 2010 Odis Odell Lang, of Byars, was born October 30, 1931 in Millerton, Oklahoma to Melbourne and Ethel Crawford Lang. He passed away August 1, 2010 in Byars, at the age of 78 years. He was married to Doris E. Eddlemon in Ada, Ok on February 4, 1953. Odis was a veteran of the U.S.Army served in the Korean War. He grew up in Sulphur and later in Pauls Valley where he attended school. He has made his home in Rosedale for the past 47 years and attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church. Odis enjoyed fishing and being with all of his grandchildren & great grandchildren. Many children in the area called him "PaPa". He was preceded in death by his father, Melbourne Lang, mother, Ethel Rush, step father Doug Rush; 2 sons, Randy Lang & Odis Odell Lang, Jr.; 1 sister, Faye Teel; a grandchild, "Rip Stringer". Surviving family include his wife, Doris, of the home; 7 children, Danny "Doc" & Sherrie Lang of Rosedale; Donna Stufflebean of Rosedale; Susan & Clifford Stringer of Wayne; Kathy & Steve Chance of Konawa; Andrea & Glenn Boydston of Wayne; Brent & Donna Lang of Rosedale; and Barry & Tamara Lang, of Rosedale; 18 grandchildren, Kandi Miller, Danny Paul Lang, Todd Webb, Tommy Webb, Bo Linker, Tana Lang, Randi Gray, Jamie Farrow, Sean Kinslow, Jesse Stringer, Aaron Arnn, John Farrow, Kasie Lang, Brandi Lang, Jeff Lang, Riley Lang, Hailey Lang, and Tiffany Lang; 28 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 10:00 am at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Russell Newville and Jim Richardson. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery. Interment and professional services are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. |
