March 25, 2009 October 17, 1917 ~ March 23, 2009 Maybelle Timmons, born October 17, 1917, to James W. and Georgia Mae [Boone] Timmons. She married George Riley "R.G." Kilgore on March 7, 1947. She was preceded in death by her husband, RG her parents sisters, Lucille Dobbs, Merine Combs, Kathryn "Kitten" Richerson, brothers, Lestine, Eugene and Rev. Travis Timmons. She is survived by her children, Donna Kilgore, OKC son, James David Kilgore and wife Sherry, OKC grandchildren, Jeremy and wife Stephanie Kilgore, Shiloh and husband Todd Sherrill great grandchildren, Taylor Fabian [Kilgore], Kimmbree Kilgore and Kaylee Sherrill. One of her greatest joys was being in church with all of her family! Attending church was her greatest joy! She also adored her constant companion, Ms. Purdy, her Poodle. Special friends that she cherished during her final days, Evelyn Wise, Margie McElhinney, Marie Thomas, Nancy Likowski, Laquitta Green, Cornelia Ivie, Grace Clanton and Bea Bohrofen, Rev. Charles and Norma Clanton, your many calls, cards, visits and prayers were like candles in the window to her these past months. She felt like her physicians were friends, Drs. Shirin Mohammad, M. Yasin and Nick Knutson. Thank you for your wonderful care that you gave her these past years! Samaritan Home Health and Hospice of Oklahoma County thanks to all of your team members! Special thanks to her caregivers, Rose Hyeche and Cristal Breshers. The family will greet visitors on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. Homegoing Celebration will be 11:00 AM Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Abundant Life Church, 777 SW 19, Moore, OK. Burial will follow at Paoli Cemetery. |
