May 14, 2012 February 5, 1935 ~ May 14, 2012 Melton Jordan, Jr., a resident of Paoli, OK was born February 5, 1935 in Maysville, Oklahoma to Myrtle Ann [Brown] and Melton Jordan, Sr. He passed away May 14, 2012 at Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years 3 months and 9 days. He was married to Donna Gayle [Futrell] Jordan, at Gainesville, TX on August 29, 1970. Mr. Jordan graduated Wayne High School, then went on to graduate Oklahoma A&M, and spent time at OKC University School of Law. He was a Farmer and Rancher who had served on several boards for many years including the Paoli School Board, REC Board, and Oklahoma Asssociaton of Electric Coops where he was a past president. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Paoli, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother - Don Jordan, Son - Mark DeArman. Survived by his Wife - Donna Jordan of the home; Son and Daughter in law - Bill and Tammie Jordan of Paoli, OK; Daughter - Denise DeArman of Paoli, OK; Sister - Priscilla Ritter of OKC, OK; Sister in law - Rufina Jordan of Seattle, WA; 5 Grandchildren - Lee Jordan of Paoli, OK; Ty Jordan of Paoli, OK; Tanner DeArman of Paoli, OK; Taylor DeArman of Paoli, OK; Travis DeArman of Paoli, OK. Services will be held Wednesday May 16, 2012 at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Paoli, OK officiated by Rev. Chuck Samples and assisted by Dr. John Allen. Burial will follow at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Wynnewood, OK. |
