© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma April 21, 2011 Ruby "Faye" [Coffee] Helm January 23, 1923 ~ April 21, 2011 RUBY `FAYE' HELM, 88, Of Rogers, Arkansas, died at 6:08 p.m. April 21, 2011, at Legacy Village, Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born January 23, 1923 in Latimer County, Oklahoma to Jack and Mary Mae Newkirk Coffee. She married H.C. `Clarence' Helm, January 18, 1942 in California returning to Oklahoma City in 1951. She was in the Nutrition Department as a Baker at Grant High School and Oklahoma City Children's Hospital and a longtime member of Exchange Avenue Baptist Church. Moving to Garvin County, Oklahoma in late 60's to raise cattle and farm. She worked at Pauls Valley State School for Children and attended Katie Baptist Church and a member of Home Demonstration Club. Moving to Rogers, Arkansas in 1987 to be near family, she worked as a cashier at St. Mary's Hospital, Martha's Pie Shoppe and Al McCarty's Jewelers. Faye passionately loved her family, friends and even strangers. She loved to travel, dance, fishing, gardening, hosting company, enjoying life and having fun, adventure and the outdoors. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence, her son, Jimmy, and granddaughter, Kimberly Hawkins Winters; Brothers, J.E. Coffee and Lloyd Robertson; Sister, Wanda Crownover. Faye is survived by daughter and son in law, Judy and Dick Lutes, daughter, Ruby Helm of Rogers. Ar.; Grandchildren; Larry Hawkins, Tony Helm, Travis Helm, Tina Helm/Burt, Shawn Bresnehen, Brad Bresnehen; 16 Great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson; Sisters, Dorthy Foreman, Melba Cleveland, and Cleatuce Oyler; Sisters-in-Law; Ruth Coffee and Aronda Robertson; Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and Her very beloved kitty, Bonnie. A celebration of Faye's life is set for Monday, April 25, 2011 at 2:00 pm Benton County Funeral Home, Rogers, Arkansas, with Rev. Sandra Wanasak officiating. Graveside services and burial is set for Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 10:30 am at Paoli Cemetery in Paoli, Oklahoma under the direction of the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home in Pauls Valley with Pastor KayKaren Kennedy officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations are made to the Circle of Life Hospice, 900 NE Verdant, Bentonville, Ar. 72712 or Local Animal Shelter. |
