© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma September 21, 2008 James Robert Goble May 17, 1926 ~ September 21, 2008 James Robert Goble was born May 17, 1926, to Carl and Ellen Elisabeth [Reust] Goble, near Guymon, OK. He passed from this earth September 21, 2008, in Oklahoma City. In Proverbs 22:1 it is written, ''A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches.''He chose to live the values and work ethic of his family." His character was without blemish. He was strong, trustworthy, honest, wise and committed. Jim was a friend that was willing to help anyone that needed it and he appreciated the many friends that in turn helped him and his family. He married Alberta Sarah Nellie Nass, May 13, 1945. The had four children, Carol Elaine ''Elaine'', James Robert, Jr., Nellie Virginia and Cheryl Anne. Jim is most known for his mechanic days, from driving the school bus and owning Bond Auto Supply. Surviving are daughter, Elaine Johnson and her husband, Tom of Chickasha son, James Robert Goble, Jr. of Ada daughter, Nellie Casey of Bakersfield, CA and her husband, Sonny daughter, Cheryl Stahlman and her husband, Jake of Oklahoma City. Jim is also survived by grandchildren, Sherry Elaine Morrison and her husband, Shane of Tuttle, Jerry Michael Patrick Casey and his wife, Sanae of Iowa Park, TX, Alicia Lei Harper and her husband, Chris of Ada, Scott Johnson and his wife, Grace of Enid, Cathy Hastings of Kennewick, WA and six great grandchildren, Tasha, Alex and Drake Casey all of Iowa Park, TX, Bettianna and Analise Johnson of Enid and Ryan Hastings of Kennewick, WA. Also surviving are siblings, Paul Goble and his wife, Betty of Grand Junction, CO and Doris Ferguson and her husband, Joe of Guymon as well as many nieces and nephews. Passing from Jim's life before him were his wife, Alberta his parents, Carl and Ellen Goble his grandson, Justin Carl Smith and siblings, Carletta Ellen, John Wendell, Ronald Wayne and Leland Carroll Goble. Services will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 24, at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home in Pauls Valley and burial at Paoli Cemetery. |
