Elmo C. "Mo" Crawfor
September 19, 1932 ~ May 19, 2014


"Mo" Crawford, of Pauls Valley was born September 19, 1932 in Konawa, Oklahoma to John Oscar and Clara Mae [Sweat] Crawford.

He passed away May 19, 2014 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War.

After his tour of duty Elmo was married to Connie Lewis in Konawa, Oklahoma on March 19, 1956. From that day forward they were inseparable.

He was preceded in death by his parents: one brother, James Crawford and one sister, Viola Mills.

He is survived by his loving wife, Connie: his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Lee Coburn of Crescent, Oklahoma and son and daughter-in-law, David and Marnie Crawford of Pauls Valley. He has two grandchildren: Madeleine and Mitchell Crawford, whom he adored. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Tommy and Debbie Crawford of Enid, Oklahoma and sister-in-law, Jeffie Crawford.

Elmo was a man of integrity, hardworking, and dedicated to all he did and loved. When he did something, he did it well. Elmo loved God and his family with all of his heart. He worked in construction and was a cement finisher. He was the most protective and devoted husband, father, and papa.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Paoli United Pentecostal Church, officiated by Rev. Terry Erwin and Rev. Jack Garrison. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery.
