December 15, 2010 Taylor Dale Cowan-Paul March 24, 2010 ~ December 12, 2010 Taylor Dale Cowan-Paul flew home to heaven on Sunday, December 12, 2010, at the age of eight months and 18 days old. Taylor was born on March 24, 2010 to Brittany Cowan and Cody Paul. Taylor's earthly home for the past eight (8) months has been the Children's Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where he was treated for Left Hypoplastic Heart Syndrome and Pulmonary Hypertension. During the precious time Taylor was off the ventilator, he had a smile that would melt any heart and a kick that bounced him in his bouncy seat, one of the few joys he had in his little short life. Taylor is survived by his mother Brittany Cowan of Paoli, his father Cody Paul of Pauls Valley, maternal grandmother Darla Cowan of Paoli, paternal grandmother Tammy Mantooth of Pauls Valley, paternal grandparents Jackie and Tina Paul of Elmore City, uncles Bryce Cowan of Paoli and Jessie Paul of Pauls Valley, aunt Jessica Spivey of Paoli. Also, maternal great-grandparents Michael and Reba Dunnam of Paoli, Carl and Kay Cowan of Comanche, paternal great-grandparents Glenn and Joyce Ingram of Pauls Valley and Beth and the late Jim Paul of Elmore City, as well as many great aunts, uncles, cousins and the loving and caring staff at CMC. Taylor was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Tony Dale Cowan, maternal great-grandparents Robert and Georgia Parker, maternal great-great grandparents Albern and Jessie Parker, Donald and Lucille Miller, Larry and Maxine Dunnam, Cecil and Delois McDaniel, Jim and Mabel Cowan and his paternal great-grandfather Jim Paul. The celebration of Taylor's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brad Nicar officiating. Interment will be in the Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. You may send a condolence to the family at www.woosterfuneralhomes.com. |
