© Wilson-Little Funeral Home Purcell, Oklahoma August 2020 Lester Clouse July 21, 1937 ~ August 15, 2020 Lester Clouse, age 83 of Wayne, died Saturday August 15, 2020 at Purcell Municipal Hospital. Lester was born on July 21, 1937 in Ketchum, OK, he was the youngest of 8 children born to C.P. and Agnes [Betcher] Clouse. He was raised in Vinita, OK. After graduating from Vinita high school, he continued helping on the family farm and in their broom making business for a while before becoming a long-haul Trucker. Lester is preceded in death by his parents C.P. and Agnes, wife Karlene, brother Homer Clouse, sisters Pauline Griffen and Naomi Splaine, son Steve Clouse, stepson Russell Patrick, and Mother of his children Ann Woods. He is survived by brothers Herbert Clouse and wife Cora of Arlington, TX, Melvin Clouse and wife Upton of Boston, MA, sisters Cuba McKinney of Ft. Worth, TX and Lillie Sanders of Keene, TX. Daughter Vicki Littleton of Tupelo, OK, son Todd Clouse and wife Sherry of Purcell, OK, and daughters Brenda Stephens and husband Stacy of Atoka, OK, and Sandy Sharp of Grady, NM. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and a host of other family and close friends. Lester loved his truck driving days and he never met a stranger. After his retirement he loved telling everyone stories about all his adventures he had over the years. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. © Wilson-Little FuneralHome Purcell, Oklahoma September 2018 Leslie Steven "Steve" Clouse November 9, 1958 ~ September 20, 2018 Steve Clouse, age 59 of Atoka, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Wayne, Oklahoma. Leslie Steven Clouse was born November 9, 1958 in Vinita, OK, the 2nd of 4 children born to Lester Herlen Clouse and Theresa Ann (Williams) Clouse. He spent his early childhood in Vinita, and later in Wayne. He graduated from Wayne High School in 1976. Steve worked hard as a truck driver, mostly in the oil field. He always loved the outdoors. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting and riding horses. Later in life, his passion became motorcycles. Steve loved the open road and his cycle gave him pause for escape, until an accident changed his life. Steve was the proud father of two boys, Kelly and Shelby. He was exceptionally bright and had a wonderful sense of humor and was always willing to share a good joke. He will be dearly missed! He was preceded in death by: His mother, Theresa Woods and Step-mother, Karlene Clouse. Steve is survived by: His boys, Kelly Clouse and Shelby Clouse, both of Atoka; His dad, Lester Clouse of Wayne; Brother, Todd Clouse and wife Sherry of Purcell; Sisters, Vicki Lloyd of Tupelo, OK and Brenda Stephens and husband Stacy of Atoka; Granddaughter, Jazmine Clouse; 6 nieces and nephews, Elizabeth and Emily Grippando, Doug and Chris Lloyd, Tanner Clouse and Leslie Ford; and a host of other family and friends.
