June 21, 1917 Elizabeth Jane [Houston] Christy 1939 ~ June 1917 The body of Mrs. Christy was brought in from Henrietta, Texas, this morning for burial at Oak Ridge. She was killed in a train accident, having been run over by a car making a flying switch while she was at the crossing waiting for the train to get out of the way. The accident happened Monday and she lived only about twelve hours. Mrs. Christy lived west of Davis a number of years ago and was known by old settlers of that community. |
