He passed away January 27, 2008 at Norman, OK at the age of 85 years 9 months and 13 days. He was married to LaJean [Herring] Lowery at Yuma, Arizona on January 18, 1946. He was a truck driver and carpenter and member of the 1506 Carpentry Union. He was in the US Army and served during World War II. He moved to Wynnewood from Phoenix, Arizona in 1990. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Wynnewood, OK. Services will be held Thursday January 31, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God Church of Wynnewood officiated by Rev. Ron Savage. Burial will be at Oaklawn cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Wynnewood. |
© DeArman's Wynnewood Funeral Home Wynnewood, Oklahoma January 2020 LaJean [Herring] Lowery September 20, 1928 ~ January 17, 2020 LaJean Lowery, a resident of Wynnewood, OK, was born on September, 20, 1928 in Chigley, OK to Aubrey and Etta [Schrum] Herring. She passed away on January 17, 2020 in Pauls Valley, OK at the age of 91. LaJean married Frank Lowery in Yuma, AZ on January 18, 1946 and they spent their lives together until he preceded her in death. She had worked in manufacturing jobs at various places. She had moved to Wynnewood from Phoenix, AZ 26 years ago and spent the rest of her life in Wynnewood. LaJean was a lifetime Pentecostal Holiness member. She is survived by her daughter - Cookie Duncan and husband George of Phoenix, AZ, Daughter in law - Bobbie Lowery of Wynnewood, Granddaughters - Alena Wilson and Stacy Robertson of Springdale, AR, Brandi McGough of Little Rock, AR, 9 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. LaJean is preceded in death by her husband Frank, son - Allen, her parents, sister - Melba Danley, and 2 brothers - Acey and Roy Herring. Services will be held on Thursday January 23, 2020 in Wynnewood, OK at the Assembly of God Church at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Charles Tennison with burial following at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood. Services are under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Wynnewood.
