She passed away January 13, 2018 in Enid surrounded by her loving family. In 1956, she graduated from Longdale High School. On September 18, 1962, Ruth married her childhood sweetheart, Owen Ray Lack in Enid. Throughout the years, they lived many different places but work brought them back to Enid in 1987. She was known to collect rocks from everywhere she went and if Ray went on a trip instead, he always brought one back for her. For over 25 years, Ruth was a member of Enid Maine Church of the Nazarene where she loved her church family and being a part of the card ministry. She enjoyed gardening, her crafties, her cherished furbabies and her computer so she could stay in touch with everyone. Ruth was a hardworker but her number one priority was being a wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Eugene Ivey and Junior Ivey and two sisters, Ruby Franzi and Retha Wills. Ruth is survived by her husband, Ray; four children, Sherrie Noble and husband, Doug; Robert Conaway and wife, Marie; Jimmy Ray Lack and wife, Michelle; Ranita; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren with more on the way.
