© Brown Funeral Service Atoka, Oklahoma August 29, 2016 Jennie Sue [Hucks] James March 24, 1947 ~ August 28, 2016 Jennie Sue [Hucks] James, age 69, a Muskogee, OK resident, was reared in the Wynnewood area, after marriage she lived in Muskogee. She was born on Monday, March 24, 1947, to Thomas Brent and Elsie Savannah [Nelson] Hucks, at Wynnewood, OK. Jennie passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Muskogee, OK. She attended Chigley and Joy Schools, and graduated from Wynnewood High School. Jennie worked in dry cleaners for a while and was a caregiver for a number of years. She was a member of Pentecostal Holiness. Jennie loved reading the Bible and singing. Jennie is survived by her sisters, Willie Bartlett of Mid West City, OK, Jean Penick of Atoka, OK; nephews, Emmitt Coffman and wife Alfreda of Farris, OK, Brent Bartlett and wife Rhonda of Mid West City, OK, Nathan Bartlett of Mid West City, OK, Jimmy Knight of Wynnewood, OK, Tommy Sparks of California, Charles Sparks of California; nieces, Vivian Sparks of California, Brenda McCormack of California, Pat Lamb and husband Harley of Mt. Pleasant, TX; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends. Jennie is preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Elsie [Nelson] Hucks; brother, Dennis Harold Hucks; sisters, Bethene Yarber and Mary Knight; infant, Inez Hucks, Gardie Lee. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 1st, 2016 at the Oak Lawn Cemetery, Wynnewood, Oklahoma. Officiating will be Rev Jim Richardson, and assisting him, Rita Smith. Interment will follow at the Oak Lawn Cemetery, Wynnewood, Oklahoma. Casketbearers include Emmitt Coffman, Brent Bartlett, Jimmy Knight, Harley Lamb.
