Bobbie Charles Evans
October 23, 1942 ~ January 22, 2010


Bobby Charles Evans, a resident of Wynnewood, OK was born October 23, 1942 in Coleman, Texas to Dorothy [Bains] and Charles "C Buck" Cowan Evans. He passed away January 22, 2010 at Okla. City, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years 2 months and 29 days. He was married to Jymme [Sells] at Dublin, TX on May 22, 1983. He moved to Wynnewood from Dublin, TX in 1985. Mr. Evans owned and operated his own farm and ranch, as well as having worked for Halliburton, and in the garment industry for Levi Strauss Company. Mr. Evans was a Mason. He also loved to play poker, fish, hunt, and read westerns.

Survived by his Wife - Jymme Evans of the Home; Daughter and Son in law - Christy and Randy Morgan of Jonesboro, TX; Son - Bobby Evans, Jr. of Comanche, TX; Son and Daughter in law - Greg and Tricia Evans of Albuquerque, NM; Sister - Linda Martin of Marble Falls, TX; Sister and Brother in law - Kay and Bob Ribble of May, TX; Brother - Bill Evans of McAllen, TX; 5 Grandchildren including "One Rotten Kid" who he really enjoyed wrestling with and teaching to fish, and 1 Great Grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Todd Renfro, Jim Clanton, James Hutchinson, Dr. Adam Vascellaro, Nub Sullivan, Randy Mackey, Louis Perry, and Jack Cannon.

Services will be held Monday January 25, 2010 at 2:00 pm at DeArman Funeral Chapel officiated by Ron Weeden. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Wynnewood, OK.

Jymme F. "Cookie" [Sells] Evans
May 18, 1942 ~ March 10, 2020


Jymme "Cookie" Evans, a resident of Wynnewood, OK, was born on May 18, 1942 in to Josie [Dillon] and Albert Sells. She passed away on March 10, 2020 in Sulphur, OK at the age of 77. Cookie moved from Tuttle to Wynnewood at a young age and spent the majority of the rest of her life in Wynnewood. She went to college at the University of Arizona. Coached collegiate women's gymnastic team at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX. Also taught at East Central University. She then worked for years as the director of Southern Oklahoma Resource Center in Pauls Valley before retiring . After retiring she went on to run her family cattle ranch outside of Wynnewood.

Cookie was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Bob Evans in 2010.

She is survived by her daughter - Alissa Bellot and husband Albert of Bangkok, Thailand; Elizabeth Holden Bell and husband Trey of Mineral Wells, TX; 4 grandchildren - Colby Josie Bell, Alice Marie Bellot, Owen Michael Bellot, and Taylor Joe Bellot.

Graveside services will be held on Friday March 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood. Donations can be made to American Cancer Society, Dublin Rodeo Heritage Museum in Dublin, TX, or any public library. Services are under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Wynnewood.
