© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma March 16, 2013 December 10, 1925 ~ January 15, 2015 Ellen Rae Turner, of Lindsay, was born December 10, 1925 to the late John Frank and Emmer [Dutton] Riddle in Cox City, Oklahoma and passed away January 15, 2015 in Lindsay, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years. Ellen grew up in Lindsay, Oklahoma and began working at Florence's Café, then at Field's Restaurant in Pauls Valley where she met and married Jimmy Turner. After businesses were sold she worked at the Pauls Valley State School until she retired in 1993. She attended Higher Ground Church. Survivors include her two daughters, Donna Foster of Pauls Valley and Diana Whitefield of Plano, Texas; one sister, Audrey Yandell and her husband, J. W., one brother, Melvin Cowden and his wife, Glenda, of Lindsay; sister-in-law, Sue Riddle, of Blanchard; grandsons, Steven Warren and fiancé, Jeanie Chapman, and Michael Todd Warren and his wife, Cricket, Greg Richardson, Chris Richardson and his wife, Stephanie, Paul Rudnicki and his wife, Jenna; two granddaughters, Lisa Rosenburg and her husband, Jason, and Angela Ticknor and her husband, Jim; great-grandchildren, Matthew Warren, Maggie Warren, Natalie Rosenburg, Zack Rosenburg, Ethan Ticknor and Andrew Ticknor, Greyson Richardson, Paige Richardson, Cole Richardson, Ward Richardson and Aden Richardson; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by her daughter, Fonda Richardson, brother, Troy Riddle, grandson, Matthew Richardson, sons-in-law, Larry Warren, Stanley Foster and Kerry Whitefield. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 10:00 am at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Joel Downing. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. |
