Geneva Jean "Jeanne" [Snedden] Shebester
February 21, 1948 ~ October 7, 2007


The service for Geneva Jean "Jeanne" [Snedden] Shebester will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Rev. Lesly Broadbent will officiate. Burial will be 4 p.m. in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Pauls Valley. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Jeanne was born February 21, 1948, in Wynnewood, OK, to Wallace and Virginia Snedden and died Sunday, October 7, 2007, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center of Enid after a long fight with cancer.

She graduated from Pauls Valley High School in 1966.

She married Melvin Shebester June 25, 1966, in Pauls Valley.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin, of the home; son, Jason Shebester, daughter-in-law, Laynie Shebester; grandson, Evan Shebester; granddaughter, Karlie Shebester of Shawnee, OK; niece, Debbie Johnson; and great-niece, Mandy Johnson of Sumter, S.C.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Luretha Badon.

Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home acting as custodian of the funds.
