© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma July 22, 2015 Betty [Johnson] Ray March 4, 1951 ~ June 22, 2015 Betty Johnson Ray, 64 was born March 4, 1951 in Pauls Valley, Ok to Lonnie "Bud" and Iva [Duncan] Johnson. She passed away June 22, 2015 in Houston, TX surrounded by her husband of 43 years Randy, her children and other family members. She graduated from Pauls Valley High School in 1969. She met the love of her life in 1969 while working at Ben's Burger. Betty married Randy Ray on August 6, 1971 in Pauls Valley, Ok. Together they made their home and raised their family in Pauls Valley for 43 years. She gave birth to their 1st daughter Brandy in 1974, followed by Jennifer in 1978 and finally her only son Randy Joe in 1991. She loved to decorate cakes for her family and friends. She was always the homeroom mom, girl scout leader and anything else her kids needed. Beginning 2001 she was blessed with her greatest joys the births of her grandchildren. She was Nanny to not just her grandkids but many others. She was a member of the First Church of God in Pauls Valley. She was preceded in death by her parents Lonnie "Bud" & Iva Johnson; Father & Mother in Law Bill & Pat Ray; Brothers Stanley & Lank Johnson; Sisters Imogene Stevens & Minnie Brown; Brother in law L.G. Clarkston. She is survived by her husband Randy Ray; Daughter & Son in law Brandy & Jeff Price; Daughter Jennifer Ray; Son Randy Ray II & Tiffany Burnett; Grandchildren, Chloey Ray, Jaxon Ray, Olivia Ray, Zac Ray, Callie Ray & Caitlyn Price; Sister Lola Clarkson; Brothers & Sisters in law, Leon & Marita Johnson; Frank & Margaret Johnson; Bill & Clara Johnson; Sonja Johnson, Brenda Johnson & Buster Brown; Brothers & Sisters in law, Dennis & Claudia Ray; Billy & Kathy Ray; Numerous Nieces & Nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 at 10:00 am at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Terry Clayton. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. |
