© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma June 18, 2015 Rev Wilma Lou [Cordell] Lowry February 9, 1940 ~ June 16, 2015 Wilma Lou Cordell Lowry, of Pauls Valley, was taken away to Heaven on June 16, 2015 in Pauls Valley at the age of 75 years. She was born February 9, 1940 in Mill Creek, Oklahoma to Willie Pearl [Cain] and Marvin Cordell. Wilma worked at SORC and in Home Health for many years until she retired; she has been an ordained minister since 1976. Wilma enjoyed listening to Gospel music, and reading her Bible; she also loved her Rose Garden, her children and her dogs. Before her health got bad, she loved to visit people and talk about God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie [Cain] and Marvin Cordell; a daughter, Sharon Ann "Cokie" Belcher in 2013; two brothers, Wesley Cordell and Jacky Cordell; three grandchildren, Jimmy Daniels Jr, an infant, Christopher Huddleston, and Christy Wages Grier. Surviving family include her five sons, Tony Lowry and wife, Angie; former husband, Harry Lowry, both of Pauls Valley; sons, Bobby McNutt of the home; Larry McNutt and wife, Connie; David McNutt and wife, Rose, all of Pauls Valley; and Roger McNutt of California; one daughter, Sandra Wages Melton; one sister, Dorothy Atkins of Pauls Valley; 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren. |
