Johnson, of Pauls Valley, was born August 11, 1936 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Lonnie "Bud" and Iva [Duncan] Johnson. He passed away surrounded by his family at his home in Pauls Valley on Sunday, August 16, 2015, at the age of 79 years. He married Clara Lack on July 1, 1960 in Pauls Valley. Together they made their home and raised their 3 sons. Bill was a family man who dearly loved his wife of 55 years. He also loved his boys, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He had a superior work ethic and spent 18 years working at Manning Freight Lines. Later Bill was employed at Southern Oklahoma Resource Center [SORC] and retired from there as a supervisor. Both staff and residents held a special place in Bill's heart. He was preceded in death by parents, Lonnie "Bud" and Iva Johnson; father and mother in law, Owen and Vera Lack; Brothers, Stanley and Lank Johnson; sisters, Imogene Stevens, Minnie Brown and Betty Ray; brothers in law, L. G. Clarkston, O. T. Lack, Carlos Lack, Bill Lack, Bud Zebert, Pete Boney and Jr. Ivey; sisters in law, Margie Ivy, Jean Lack and grandson, Cody Lee Johnson. He is survived by his wife Clara Johnson; sons, Billy Ray Johnson and wife Joy of Pauls Valley; Lonnie Dewayne Johnson and wife Alisha of Choctaw; and Bobby Darren Johnson and wife Sheila of Pauls Valley; grandchildren, Kim and Jimmy Dudgeon, Darci and James Williams, Dustin and Shea Johnson, Christy and Nathan Wood, Jeremy and Kaylee Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Amber and Ro Johnson, Loni and Joe Cox, as well as 19 great grandchildren; sister, Lola Clarkston; brothers and sister-in-laws; Leon and Marita Johnson, Frank and Margaret Johnson, Sonja Johnson, Brenda Johnson, Buster Brown, Randy Ray, Ruth Zebert, Loretta Boney, Owen Ray, and Leanora Ruth Lack. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Dr. Jim West. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
